Indianapolis Birth Photographer | The Birth of Eden

On August 22nd, in the middle of the night, I rushed over to Sacred Roots Midwifery and Birth Center to document the birth of Eden. At the time the family did not know if they were going to be welcoming a baby boy or a baby girl. I LOVE surprises and seeing the joy and emotion that washes over families when they finally meet their baby.

The Hardy Family lives the awesome traveling RV life. They traveled to Indianapolis to have their baby here. Everything just went so smoothly. It was such an emotional and empowering birth. Momma labored in the tub the entire time and delivered her sweet baby in the water. So many emotions overcame them when she arrived safely and they learned they had a girl - some of the most beautiful moments I’ve had to privilege to document.

I was honored to create a beautiful birth film for this family as well as capture photos. If you have ever wondered what a gallery looks like when I document both video and photo, this is a great example. Surprisingly, I don’t miss much of anything! And this is only a fraction of their gallery.
