Many times in this life I have witnessed the sacred dance between joy and sorrow. I've seen these two things intermingle with one another in ways I never knew possible. And each and every time it is so clear to me that through it all - love endures.

A few weeks ago my friend Michelle from Labor of Love - birth photography & doula services reached out to me about this sweet family - The Brinnemans. She shared the news that Ty (dad) is battling a rare aggressive cancer and Aubrey was about to deliver their 4th baby. I was invited to join them to film the birth of their baby boy. It was such an honor to share space with this amazing family and to document the beautiful birth of baby Royal.
